Privacy Policy.

1. Our Privacy Philosophy
At ImageFreely, privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational architecture of our software. We believe that you should not have to share your personal photos, professional designs, or sensitive corporate documents with third-party servers just to perform basic utility operations like compression, resizing, or format conversion.
2. Zero Server Uploads
We do not upload, transmit, or cache your files on any remote servers. All operations are performed 100% client-side.
When you drag and drop an image into our tools, it is processed locally in your browser's sandboxed runtime memory utilizing HTML5 Canvas APIs, CPU parallelism, and compiled WebAssembly logic. Once you close the tab, all processed file data is purged from your browser's local memory.
3. Information Collection
Because all image conversion and compression scripts run in your browser, we have no access to:
- Your original uploaded images.
- Your processed, resized, or compressed output images.
- Any metadata (EXIF tags, timestamps, geolocation coordinates) contained inside your photos.
4. Analytics and Telemetry
We may run lightweight, privacy-compliant tracking scripts to monitor overall traffic patterns and tool success rates (e.g., counting the total number of operations completed). These scripts collect aggregated browser attributes only (such as browser name and country) and do not track any information about the filenames, visual contents, or data payloads of your files.
5. Local Preferences (Cookies)
We use browser local storage (specifically localStorage) to remember your display preferences, such as your light/dark mode selection. No marketing tracker cookies or third-party behavioral cookies are deployed by our core application.
6. Contact Information
If you have questions regarding this policy or want to learn more about our local execution runtime, please reach out to us at privacy@imagefreely.com or use our Contact Us form.
